Mass Finishing welcomes Ty Lehrke as a new Sales Person and Lab Engineer. Ty started at MFI on January 6, 2020 and he’s very excited to be a part of this great company!

Ty’s been married to his wife Kristin for 22 years. They purchased Kristin’s childhood home about 13 years ago in Watertown just off Hwy 7 and enjoy taking care of the two acres that backs up to a very nice woods, allowing them the opportunity to see various types of wild life.

They have two daughters. Sydney is 17 years old and a junior at Mayer Lutheran High School. Cassie is 12 years old and a 7th grader at Trinity Lutheran in Waconia. Both girls are very involved with volleyball, so they spend most of the fall and winter weekends in the gym when he’s not hunting.

Before he started at MFI, he worked at Timesavers for at total of 18 years, where MFI co-founder Tommy Mathisen also worked at the time and helped him get a job.

When he’s not working, he enjoys watching sports including football, baseball, and volleybal. But most of all he really enjoys hunting & fishing. One of his major accomplishments in hunting is completing the World Slam of Wild Turkeys. The World Slam is every turkey in the world:  four in the USA and two in Mexico. His most recent big hunting trip was to Gisborne New Zealand for Red Stag.
