Our Distributors’ success leads directly to our overall company’s success, and we value the relationships we have built with each of them. To highlight our Distributors, we’ve created a new category within our newsletter page entitled the “Distributor Spotlight.” In these spotlight articles, we’ll take the time to introduce and acknowledge the Distributors that contribute to our continued success.
The first Distributor we’ll be highlighting is SurfacePrep. MFI’s relationship began with one of SurfacePrep’s Legacy Brands, Grand Northern Products. Grand Northern Products had been a distributor of surface finishing equipment, abrasives, and supplies since 1981. They then joined SurfacePrep’s network of distributors in 2005, and our relationship has continued with SurfacePrep since then.
SurfacePrep sells MFI’s full equipment line and has nationwide sales coverage. In addition to their own media resources, SurfacePrep also sells some MFI corncob blends, which are made locally at our facility in Howard Lake, MN. “With SurfacePrep having various warehouses in different parts of the country, it allows us to help customers that are in need of media quickly,” stated Cole Mathisen, MFI Sales & Marketing Manager.
