Description
MFI’s 36 grit aluminum oxide is brown in color and is used for increased grinding. This media’s high hardness and density make it effective for removing scale, rust, and other surface contaminants from a variety of materials. It’s an excellent choice for applications requiring fast material removal while maintaining consistency in performance.
Our aluminum oxide is carefully produced from calcined bauxite (alumina) and combined with coke and iron filings. It is then fused at 2000ºC to achieve optimal quality and purity. The material undergoes a rigorous reduction process to eliminate unwanted oxides, ensuring high efficiency and reliability in every application. Following fusion, the aluminum oxide is cooled, solidified, and refined into a wide range of grit sizes to meet diverse grinding and finishing needs.
