In early 2021, Mass Finishing Inc. announced a multi-year partnership with Roush Yates Engines and Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions (RYMS),
Roush Yates Engines is the exclusive engine builder for all Ford’s NASCAR teams and they “[supply] engines and provide team support to 17 Ford NASCAR teams, 4 IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) and 2 FIA (Federation Internationale De L’Automobile in five unique race series that reach around the world” (Roush Yates Engines, n.d.).
Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions “is a world-class AS9100 REV D/ISO 13485 certified precision CNC manufacturing facility. [Their] expertise is in the CNC machining of complex geometry parts that require robust process control” (Roush Yates Manufacturing Solutions, n.d.).
Our Partnership
After testing our HZ-160 High Energy Series Centrifugal Barrel Finishing Machine, RYMS added one to their own facility. Since then, Roush Yates has been utilizing their HZ-160 to deburr and polish parts for motorsports, aerospace, defense, and other industries.
They have been sharing their success with the HZ-160 on their LinkedIn page, noting that with the MFI provided media and solution, they were able to reduce deburring time by 30 minutes per part on their Next Gen Uprights!

In a matter of minutes, MFI’s tumbler creates an isotropic uniform surface finish, something that simply cannot be achieved by hand in such a short amount of time. The results are consistent and predictable, with time and cost savings that are passed on to the customer.
