One of the best ways to understand what a centrifugal barrel finishing machine can do is to see one running.
At IMTS, we’ll have both the HZ-40 and HZ-85 Centrifugal Barrel Finishing Machines operating live. We will be running real, regular pennies through the machine so you will have a good visual of our capabilities. Visitors can see the machines in action and talk with our sales team and lab technicians about how centrifugal finishing can be used to achieve consistent results on a wide range of manufactured components.
Seeing the machines run also provides an opportunity to get a better understanding of the differences between equipment sizes, processing capabilities, and finishing requirements.

Not sure which type of media is right for your part? Wondering how long a part needs to run? Trying to determine whether centrifugal finishing is the right process for an application?
Our lab technicians will be available at the booth to discuss applications, media selection, finishing processes, and machine selection.
Mass finishing is not a one-size-fits-all process. Factors such as part geometry, material, desired surface finish, production volume, and the amount of material that needs to be removed all play a role in determining the right process.

Before-and-after parts can tell you a lot about the finishing process. You can see how deburring, edge refinement, surface improvement, and polishing can change a component and get a better idea of what may be possible for your own parts.

Test Before You Invest
One of the biggest advantages of working with Mass Finishing is our on-site test lab in Howard Lake, Minnesota.
Choosing a finishing machine can involve more than simply selecting equipment based on part size. The right media, compound, machine speed, processing time, and overall recipe can have a major impact on the finished result.
