How it Works
Centrifugal Disc Finishing Machines operate using a drum with a disc at the bottom that rotates to create a rolling action with parts and media. A g-force of 6-8 is produced on the media and parts by the disc spinning at the bottom of the bowl and moving against the stationary side walls. This creates a powerful vortex at the bottom of the finishing chamber which helps achieve fast finishing results.
Benefits and Features of the RF-50 SA
With the media separator built into this Centrifugal Disc Finishing Machine, your media and parts will get separated automatically after your cycle is over. This makes it a great option for separating out small parts, or if you’re running batches of small pieces because you won’t have to sift and sort them by hand.
The system highlighted in this video is a flow-through system. You can have the water go into the drain or sludge tank system. It can also be set up to have the compound flow in automatically.
Centrifugal Disc Finishing Systems from MFI offer lower operating costs and a better finishing performance than vibratory finishers. They can perform a wide range of deburring and polishing functions at 10 to 30 times the speed of most vibratory finishers.
